100waterbarrelKiio is in a very arid area and has suffered greatly this year from the drought in East Africa. Harvesting water is a big challenge, as are health care and schooling. The sisters teach income-generating skills like goat rearing and sewing and carry out primary health care services focusing on people with HIV/AIDS.
