A week long Session on Catechetics.

This programme was given mainly by Fr. Joseph an Indian Salesian who was head of the Catechetical Centre in Tanzania for 12 years and was Provincial here in Nairobi for 9 years. He is now in charge of the Salesian Students. His presentations were  informing and inspiring for the sisters. We also had a daylong session given by a Kenyan Sister on the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Both presenters used a lot of the Montessori method, which is very helpful and a very practical method for teaching children. We also had one input from Reverend Rail an Anglican Minister who has experiencing of using the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at Parish level. The Seminary Sisters also participated in this week’s programme. It was good for all the young sisters and seminary sisters to be together in order to build bonds of friendship together.
