St Louise’s Day – Daughter of Charity Child and Family Services.

St Louise’s Day - Daughter of Charity Child and Family Services.

A large number of staff within the Child and Family Services gathered on Monday 15 May to celebrate St Louise’s day.  It was an opportunity for the staff to meet, to chat and to get to know the various services that are part of this vital and essential service for so many families in need.  They were addressed by Sr Goretti Butler the Provincial of the Daughters of Charity and by Liam Ó Dálaigh the Director of Services.

The keynote speaker was Emily Logan, chief Commissioner of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.

There was plenty of fun as the winners of the monster raffle were announced.  The raffle was organised by the staff to help support families experiencing particular difficulty.
