Symposium in Rome

Symposium in Rome

A symposium of the Vincentian Family took place in Rome from 12 to 15 October. The theme was: ‘welcoming the stranger’. Thousands of delegates from the many branches of the Vincentian Family gathered from all over the world to celebrate the anniversary year ‘400 Years of Vincentian charism’.

The Irish Province of the Daughters of Charity was represented by four sisters: Sr Marian Harte, Sr Máire Brady, Sr Helen Mulroy and Sr Margaret Joyce.

While there they met many thousands of members of the Vincentian Family worldwide, met many old acquaintances and made new friends.  They met up with friends from across the globe.
