Feast Day of St Louise

Feast Day of St Louise

The Vincentian Family had a wonderful celebration of the Feast of St Louise and of our charism on Tuesday 9 May.

The day began with a seminar on the Vincentian Charism with our colleagues and members of the Vincentian Family. This afternoon a truly wonderful celebration of the Eucharist with hundreds of members of the Vincentian Family, friends and students from our schools. The students led the congregation in the singing of the Eucharist.   Students from Caritas College Ballyfermot, Castleknock College, St Paul’s College Raheny told the story of the beginnings of the International Association of Charity, The Vincentian Fathers and the Society of St Vincent de Paul in drama during the Eucharist and William Locke and Anita Delaney told the story of the beginnings of the Daughters of Charity.

All who attended were invited to St Catherine’s Dunardagh for afternoon tea and a wonderful afternoon followed with rekindled friendships and stories remembered and retold.

Sincere thanks to all who made this day possible.
