Mission News 2018

Greetings to all our readers from our Provincial House in Dublin. It has been a year since the last issue of Mission News and how quickly the year has flown. As you will see throughout the book there is much good news. Good news does not just happen. It must be created. Good news is created when something good is carried out for anyone, whether an individual or many persons. This is in contrast to being surrounded by so much bad news on the various media outlets that can tire and paralyse us.

We are fortunate in having so many supporters and volunteers who help us to bring good news in the form of love and service in our missions in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia. Without the generous collaboration of so many it would not be possible to maintain many of the services to those most in need. The support which we receive from you through our many fundraising activities helps us to reach out and assist people to make life changing differences for both themselves and their families. On behalf of the Daughters of Charity I want to thank each of you individually for your interest, your support and your generosity.

I take this opportunity to wish each of you and your families’ peace joy and every blessing for the coming year.
